At some point during the early decades of the 21 Century a devastating pandemic hit humanity at an unfortunate moment and everything went to shit. Although an effective vaccine was fond in time, many refused to take it. Cities locked down and science-skeptics gathered in the wilderness outside where the virus slowly but surely ate all their brains away. Now all they want is to eat your brain as well!
